Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan is located on country’s Potohar Plateau in the northwest. The city is often called the planned city because in 1960 it was planned and made to replace the Karachi city as the capital which it has since 1963. Islamabad’s climate has a perfect fusion of monsoon rains, summers, winters, and meager snowfall in the hills along with mesmerizing hill view making it an impeccable place to be. The warmest months of the year are May and June where the regular average temperature is more than 38 °C. The rainy monsoon season starts from June till September. The winter season takes the time from November to March. Despite being one the few capitals in the world to have a close proximity with the nature and aesthetics, there are few places to go and relax.

Grand Trunk Road commonly known as the G.T Road is also one of South Asia’s oldest, busiest, and longest roads. It is the pathway for the people entering or exiting the capital making it the integral part of people’s lives. The traditional commercial area in the city is losing the appeal and clients because of the frequently increasing immersion of societies such as Defence Housing Authority (DHA), Bahria Town, and other reputed societies outside of the main area. This side of G.T. Road has become the biggest commercial hub of Islamabad due to the expansion of the residential areas.

Most of the top recognized Pakistani brands have already established their stores to fulfill the demands of the residents of the surrounding area. Many more national and international brands are also opening their businesses here because of the need of the residents. The brands of diversified industries can be found on the surrounding area. Since the area has such good business avenues, great weather of the city, and good investment juncture this makes it the perfect place for The ICE Mall to be built here.
